Summary
The dossier addresses EU action for sustainability. Amendments call on the Commission and Member States to draw up an overarching strategy and implementation plan for the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, stress Official Development Assistance toward the 0.7% gross national income target, the Multiannual Financial Framework, and support for developing countries, and propose a global financial transaction tax.
