Summary
The dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for technical assistance by the Commission in 2017. The amendments welcome the reduction in the technical assistance funding request compared with the previous year, address the costs of integrating the EGF into the SFC2014 system, and support funding for meetings of the EGF Expert Group of Contact Persons and networking seminars to exchange information and spread best practice.
