Summary
This own-initiative report concerns accelerating clean energy innovation. The amendments emphasise citizens' access to low-carbon innovative solutions, public and private investment in research and innovation, the role of regulatory quality and public governance, fossil fuel subsidies and the polluter-pays principle, energy efficiency and storage, marine renewable energy, the energy-water nexus, and references to nuclear power and carbon capture and storage.
