Summary

An own-initiative report on the implementation of the Plant Protection Products Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009. Amendments dispute whether the Regulation's objectives for protecting human and animal health and the environment are met, address the dual approval/authorisation system, the burden of proof on applicants, endocrine-disruptor cut-off criteria, national competent authorities' capacities, and transparency of the approval procedure.
