Summary
Own-initiative report on a European One Health action plan against antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The amendments cite WHO, EFSA, EMA and ECDC sources and revise recitals on the excessive and inappropriate use of antibiotics in human and veterinary medicine and livestock farming, infection prevention and control, and call for removing financial incentives for doctors and veterinarians to prescribe or sell antibiotics and for restricting their sale.
