Summary
Resolution on a global ban to end animal testing for cosmetics. Amendments address the EU marketing and testing bans and their limitations regarding products tested abroad, the Cosmetics Regulation's safety-assessment and product-information-file requirements, the value of the cosmetics sector, development of alternative testing methods, animal welfare under the Treaty, and bans in other countries, calling for action in free-trade negotiations and at the United Nations.
