Health technology assessment

The dossier is a proposed regulation on health technology assessment (HTA). The amendments revise procedures for joint clinical assessment reports and summary reports, the Commission's role in checking compliance and listing technologies, and timing relative to marketing authorisations; they address clinical and non-clinical domains, the EUnetHTA Joint Actions, the European Medicines Agency, comparative effectiveness, pricing and reimbursement, and cooperation extending to pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics.
