Summary
A proposed revision of the Community Code on Visas setting conditions and procedures for issuing visas. The amendments revise provisions on the short-stay visa application procedure, migratory and security risks, the visa fee and external service providers, representation arrangements between Member States, rights of appeal against refusals, visas issued at the external border, consular cooperation and Schengen Visa Centres, a common digital solution including an E-visa, and proof of sponsorship or accommodation.
