Electronic freight transport information

This dossier concerns electronic freight transport information. Amendments aim to cut the costs and administrative burden of paper documents, require competent authorities to accept regulatory information in electronic form and let economic operators submit it electronically, ensure security and confidentiality of commercial and personal data, promote interoperability through common specifications and certified eFTI platforms and service providers, and reference the European Maritime Single Window.
