The dossier is a recommendation to the Council, Commission and EEAS on a modernised association agreement between the EU and Chile. Amendments revise recitals on Chile as a partner on democracy, human rights, trade and multilateralism; they call for a comprehensive, balanced agreement with human rights, gender equality and minority rights including the LGBTI community, ethnic minorities and indigenous people, and cooperation on organised crime, migration, terrorism and climate change.
