Summary
This own-initiative report addresses EU development assistance in the field of education. The amendments tie education aid to the Sustainable Development Goals, gender equality and girls' education, cite figures on children out of school and the falling share of education in development aid, call to devote rising percentages of official development assistance to education within the Multiannual Financial Framework, and raise quality of education, refugees, skills and innovative funding instruments.
