Implementation of the Treaty provisions related to the EU citizenship

An own-initiative report on implementing the Treaty provisions related to EU citizenship. The amendments invoke the Charter of Fundamental Rights and non-discrimination, free movement and residence, voting in European and local elections, the Schengen area, and the protection of national and linguistic minorities, while debating the relationship between EU and national citizenship and the consequences of the United Kingdom's withdrawal for citizens, including Northern Ireland.
