An own-initiative report on the implementation of the Treaty provisions on Parliament's power of political control over the Commission. The amendments address Parliament's democratic oversight and the Commission's accountability, the discharge procedure and the European Court of Auditors, performance- and results-based budgeting and indicators, the motion of censure and right of inquiry, the Spitzenkandidaten process and party financing, the Commission's monopoly on initiative, and the appointment of the Secretary-General.
