Summary
An own-initiative report on the legal provisions and joint statement ensuring parliamentary scrutiny over decentralised agencies. The amendments address fee-financing and the Union budget, the location of an agency's seat and Parliament's involvement in deciding it, conflicts of interest, performance-based budgeting, representatives appointed by Parliament in Management Board meetings, the legally non-binding Joint Statement and Common Approach, accountability of Union agencies, and the relocation of the EMA.
