Gender mainstreaming in the European Parliament

An own-initiative report on gender mainstreaming in the European Parliament. The amendments reference the Istanbul Convention and Sustainable Development Goal 5, and revise recitals on the under-representation of women in Parliament's composition and in management ranks, the definition of gender mainstreaming and gender budgeting, the role of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality, interinstitutional cooperation, and coherence between internal human resources policies and external promotion of gender equality.
