Summary

This procedure concerns conditions for accessing the other EU information systems. Several amendments reject the Commission proposal outright, while others address ETIAS re-using components of the Entry/Exit System, access to the Schengen Information System and ECRIS-TCN criminal-records data, flags indicating convictions for terrorist or serious offences and their retention, the role of the ETIAS Central Unit within the European Border and Coast Guard Agency and eu-LISA, deletion of temporary access not originally foreseen, application to Union citizens holding a third-country nationality, and monthly statistics submitted to the Commission.
