Summary

A recast legislative proposal on the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The amendments concern the EIT and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), the transfer of education, research and innovation activities to business, and a proposed KIC on the cultural and creative sectors. Others revise definitions of innovation, partner organisations and the Regional Innovation Scheme, the EIT's mission, and synergies with Horizon Europe.
