Summary

This dossier is the 2018 discharge for the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA). The amendments grant discharge and approve the accounts, address the Court of Auditors' observations on procurement, internal controls and SMEs, the Agency's new authorisation tasks under the Fourth Railway Package, harmonisation of national rules, the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS), the Single European Railway Area, modal shift from road to rail, its two seats in Lille and Valenciennes, and gender balance.
