Summary

The dossier concerns the impact on fisheries of marine litter. The amendments cite the MARPOL and Barcelona Conventions and Sustainable Development Goal 14, and describe marine waste from land-based and sea-based sources ranging from nanoplastics and microplastics to lost containers and fishing gear.
