Summary

European Parliament recommendation on the Eastern Partnership ahead of the 2020 Summit. Amendments frame the Eastern Partnership within the EU Neighbourhood Policy, aiming at political association and economic integration, deep and comprehensive free trade areas and cooperation agreements, and raising concern over corruption, bank fraud, the influence of oligarchs, the informal economy and poor governance, while supporting SMEs and economic diversification.
