Summary

A legislative proposal on the InvestEU Programme. The amendments revise recitals around the Covid-19 pandemic's economic shock and the contraction in EU GDP, the InvestEU Fund's role in competitiveness, convergence, cohesion, innovation and digitisation, and alignment with the Paris Agreement, the Sustainable Development Goals and the European Green Deal. Others address infrastructure investment, research and innovation, the cultural and creative sectors, and the tourism sector.
