Summary

Own-initiative report on the gender dimension in Cohesion Policy. Amendments rework recitals and provisions on gender equality and gender mainstreaming under the Treaties, the role of Cohesion Policy and its funds including the ERDF and ESF in reducing regional disparities, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and care responsibilities on women, gender-based violence, the gender digital and pension gaps, and the EU Gender Equality Strategy.
