Summary

This dossier addresses Cohesion Policy and regional environment strategies in the fight against climate change. The amendments stress the role of cohesion funds and Cohesion Policy in climate-change adaptation and risk prevention through ecosystem-based and nature-based solutions, a more innovative circular economy, water management and energy efficiency, the Paris Agreement, national energy and climate plans, just transition, outermost regions, and debate fossil fuels, renewable energy, nuclear and hydrogen.
