Summary

The dossier covers human rights protection and the EU external migration policy. Amendments reaffirm the right to migrate as a human right, criticise the externalisation and securitisation of EU border management in the New Pact on Migration and Asylum, call for humanitarian corridors and safe and legal pathways, and address development cooperation, Policy Coherence for Development, and conditionality of development assistance on returns and readmission.
