This own-initiative report concerns a new strategy for European SMEs. The amendments stress the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on SMEs, access to finance and liquidity, reducing administrative burden and gold-plating, the digital and green transitions, data sharing through European data spaces, and reinforcing the internal market and a level playing field.
