Summary

This dossier concerns the proposed European Digital Identity framework. The amendments address the European Digital Identity Wallet and electronic attestation of attributes, including processing of personal data, registration or notification of service providers and relying parties, certification and security requirements, the use of biometrics for authentication, selective disclosure and data minimisation, cross-border identification, sandboxes for innovation, and anonymous or pseudonymous use of services.
