Summary

The dossier concerns the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure. Amendments rework recitals on recharging infrastructure for electric vehicles, renewable and synthetic fuels, biofuels, LNG and bio-LNG, shore power, and a technology-neutral approach, and address uneven deployment across Member States and regions including sparsely populated areas, with references to CO2 emission standards and zero-emission targets.
