2021/0316(BUD)·9th term·BUDG·BUD - Budgetary procedure
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): GARDIAZABAL RUBIAL Eider (S&D)
Summary

This dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in metal products manufacturing in Spain. Amendments relate to the displaced workers affected, the social impact of the redundancies in the Basque region amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the personalised services provided (guidance, job-search assistance, re-skilling and support for business creation) drawn up with the social partners, and the principle that EGF assistance must not replace employers' obligations.

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
