This own-initiative report concerns cooperation in the fight against organised crime in the Western Balkans. Amendments revise recitals on corruption, illicit arms trafficking, money laundering and state capture, the link between fighting organised crime and the EU accession and integration process, the role of candidate countries, rule-of-law reforms, civil society, and the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
