Summary

The dossier is a report on the role of cohesion policy in promoting innovative and smart transformation and regional ICT connectivity. The amendments address the digital divide across geography, age, gender and income, broadband coverage gaps in rural and remote areas, the twin digital and green transitions, SMEs' uptake of digital technologies, digital skills, telework expanded by the COVID-19 pandemic, and investment in digital infrastructure.
