Summary

This dossier is the 2020 discharge for the Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking. The amendments grant discharge, note programme implementation and milestones, COVID-19 effects on payments, participation of underrepresented Member States and SMEs, contributions to the European Green Deal and UN Sustainable Development Goals, the upgrade into the Europe's Rail partnership under Horizon Europe, modal shift and the Single European Railway Area, in-kind contribution calculation, gender balance and systemic errors in personnel costs.
