Summary

Own-initiative report on the 2021 Commission Report on Turkey. Amendments reference the Negotiating Framework, the Copenhagen criteria, the Ankara Protocol and the EU-Turkey Customs Union; express concern over the human rights situation for LGBTI people, minorities including Kurds, Armenians, Roma and Alevis, repression of academic institutions, arbitrary detention, and Turkey's drilling activities in the Eastern Mediterranean, calling on Turkey to normalise relations with all Member States.
