2022/0051(COD)·9th term·AFET / DEVE / ECON / EMPL / ENVI / IMCO / INTA / ITRE / JURI·COD - Ordinary legislative procedure (ex-codecision procedure)·Completed
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): WOLTERS Lara (S&D)
Summary

This dossier concerns corporate sustainability due diligence. The amendments rework how companies must prioritise, prevent and mitigate identified adverse human rights, labour rights, environmental and climate impacts across their operations, subsidiaries and business partners, requiring prevention or mitigation action plans with timelines and indicators developed in consultation with affected stakeholders, and reference the European Green Deal, the European Climate Law, planetary boundaries and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Plenary votes

14 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
