Summary

This dossier is a proposed directive on combating violence against women and domestic violence. The amendments set out harmonised definitions and minimum rules on cyber violence, cyber harassment and the non-consensual sharing of intimate images, and require Member States to provide specialist support services, rape crisis or sexual violence referral centres, 24/7 helplines, prevention and awareness-raising, professional training, and disaggregated data collection, with adequate human and financial resources.
