Nature restoration
A proposed directive of the European Parliament and the Council on nature restoration. The amendments include calls to reject the Commission proposal outright, and otherwise revise the recitals on ecosystem recovery, biodiversity, climate change mitigation and adaptation, food production and security, and add provisions on marine restoration areas, buffer zones against impacts such as sediment suspension and underwater noise, and passive restoration measures.
