Summary

This dossier concerns amending certain Regulations to establish the Single Market emergency instrument. The amendments introduce procedures for crisis-relevant goods, allowing national competent authorities to temporarily authorise products that have not undergone the usual conformity assessment, presumptions of conformity based on national or international standards, common specifications, enhanced market surveillance, a traceability tool, consultation of social partners, and derogations from CE marking; many apply through the Omnibus on Directives.
