Summary

This dossier concerns fees and charges payable to the European Medicines Agency. The amendments address the Agency's role in authorising medicinal products, fees proportionate to the work carried out, transparency and independence, additional workload following the COVID-19 pandemic, fee reductions for SMEs, academia and non-profit organisations, the powers of the Management Board and Executive Director, and indexation to the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices.
