Summary

This dossier is the 2021 discharge for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). The amendments raise the overlapping mandate with HERA and duplication of efforts, an extended mandate not matched by staff, the European Ombudsman's inquiry into the Centre's COVID-19 performance, the Court of Auditors' report on its guidance, declarations of interest, gender imbalance in senior management, digitalisation, cooperation with EFSA, EMA and ENISA, and health-security preparedness.
