Own Resources: A new start for EU finances. A new start for Europe
Own-initiative report on EU own resources and the financing of the Union budget. Amendments cite the Interinstitutional Agreement roadmap of new own resources, with a first basket based on the Emissions Trading System, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and the OECD/G20 Pillar I, and a possible second basket including a financial transaction tax and a corporate-linked contribution, also referencing repayment of Next Generation EU loans.
