Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): RICCI Matteo (S&D)
Summary

This procedure concerns legislation on the CO2 emission class of heavy-duty vehicles with trailers. The amendments address how trailers affect the CO2 emissions of heavy goods vehicle combinations and how this feeds into road charging schemes based on CO2 differentiation, including efficiency ratios and charge classifications for zero-emission, retrofitted and transitional low-emission vehicles. Several invoke technological neutrality, the VECTO methodology, delegated acts and transition periods for tolling systems.
