Summary

A directive establishing the European Disability Card and the European Parking Card for persons with disabilities. Amendments reference the UNCRPD, the Charter and the European Pillar of Social Rights, propose extending the scheme to older persons, address mutual recognition of disability status across Member States for free movement during travel, work and study, and raise intersectional discrimination affecting women, girls and other marginalised groups.
