Summary

This own-initiative report reviews implementation of the current Erasmus+ programme. Amendments describe Erasmus+ as an EU flagship programme for education, training, youth and sport, stress inclusion of disadvantaged people and those with fewer opportunities, removal of barriers to mobility, the European Universities initiative, the gap between demand and budget amid rising costs, and call for simplifying application and reporting procedures.
