Summary

This own-initiative report concerns implementation of the Common Market Organisation (CMO) Regulation in fisheries and aquaculture. Amendments address traceability of fishery and aquaculture products, the revised Fisheries Control Regulation and labelling, combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, producer organisations (POs) and inter-branch organisations, small-scale coastal and island fisheries, the outermost regions under Article 349 TFEU, and recognition of bodies such as cofradias and Prud'homies.
