Mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund: technical assistance
Budgetary dossier on mobilising the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for technical assistance. The two amendments state that Union assistance to displaced workers should be primarily directed at active labour-market policy measures and personalised services for rapid reintegration into decent and sustainable employment, and note that the multiannual financial framework revision reduces the EGF's maximum annual amount, with the Commission monitoring implementation so justified requests can be met.
