Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): VRECIONOVÁ Veronika (ECR)
Summary

A proposed regulation granting equivalence with EU requirements to Moldova and Ukraine for field inspections and seed production. The amendments recall earlier Commission audits of seed certification in Moldova and Ukraine, note these audits date from 2015-2016 and may be outdated, call for strengthened cooperation, external supervision of accredited laboratories, periodic review of the equivalence, and rules on contamination and competition; several amendments reject the Commission proposal.

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
