EU/USA Agreement: setting forth security procedures for the launch of Galileo satellites from U.S. territory

Through this consent procedure, Parliament gives its consent to the conclusion, on behalf of the Union, of the Agreement between the European Union and the United States of America setting forth security procedures for the launch of Galileo satellites from United States' territory. The consent responds to a request submitted by the Council under Article 189 and Article 218(6) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. Parliament instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the United States of America.
