EC/Pacific States Interim Partnership Agreement: accession of Tonga
Non-legislative procedure — consent or opinion on an act.
Through this consent procedure, in which Parliament gives or withholds its consent on a Council act, Parliament addresses the draft Council decision on the accession of the Kingdom of Tonga to the Interim Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Pacific States. On a recommendation of the Committee on International Trade, Parliament gives its consent to Tonga's accession to the agreement. It instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the Kingdom of Tonga.
No committee amendments are tracked on AmendEU for this procedure; this page follows its roll-call votes in plenary instead.
