EU/Iceland/Liechtenstein/Norway Agreement: EEA financial mechanism 2021-2028; EU/Norway Agreement: Norwegian financial mechanism 2021-2028; additional Protocol to EEC/Norway Agreement; additional Protocol to EEC/Iceland Agreement
Non-legislative procedure — consent or opinion on an act.
Through this consent procedure, in which Parliament gives or withholds its consent on a Council act, Parliament addresses the draft Council decision on the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union, of the Agreement on an EEA Financial Mechanism for May 2021 to April 2028 between the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, the Agreement on a Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the same period between Norway and the European Union, and the Additional Protocols to the EEC-Norway and EEC-Iceland Agreements. On a recommendation of the Committee on International Trade, Parliament gives its consent to the conclusion of these agreements and protocols. It instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
No committee amendments are tracked on AmendEU for this procedure; this page follows its roll-call votes in plenary instead.
