EU/Euratom Agreement on the interpretation and application of the Energy Charter Treaty: adoption by Euratom

Through this procedure, in which Parliament is consulted on a Council act, Parliament addresses the Commission proposal for a Council decision on the adoption by the European Atomic Energy Community of the Agreement on the interpretation and application of the Energy Charter Treaty between the European Union, Euratom and their Member States. On a report of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, Parliament approves the Commission proposal. It calls on the Council to notify Parliament if it intends to depart from the approved text, asks to be consulted again if the Council intends to substantially amend it, and instructs its President to forward its position to the Council and the Commission.
