EU/Euratom Agreement on the interpretation and application of the Energy Charter Treaty: adoption by the Union

Through the ordinary legislative procedure, Parliament adopts its position at first reading on the proposal for a decision on the adoption by the Union of the Agreement on the interpretation and application of the Energy Charter Treaty between the European Union, the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States. Because an agreement was reached between Parliament and the Council, Parliament's position corresponds to the final legislative act, Decision (EU) 2025/1904. Parliament calls on the Commission to refer the matter to Parliament again if it replaces or substantially amends its proposal, and instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the national parliaments.
